We realize that youth workers need core competencies such as knowledge, skills, and personal attributes to prepare for future employment or entrepreneurship. This wealth of experience derives from various sources: life experiences, natural abilities, training, on-the-job training/apprenticeship, internships, formal education, supervision, etc.

Target Demographic: Middle School to College, Black and Brown

  • Bridging the gap between the educational needs of students and the labor market demands of businesses, expanding youth apprenticeship is a way of creating a more inclusive economy.
  • Improved knowledge of the conditions and tactics required for the accomplishment and sustainability of youth apprenticeship partnerships will speed up and intensify learning.
  • Increase public knowledge and awareness of high-quality youth apprenticeship programs and certifications, and the benefits they provide to communities, companies, and students.
  • Provide emotional and coaching support while striving to accomplish endeavors regardless of the chosen path (self-employment or college).
